Our Space
Foundational transformation is within reach.
Urban Alliance’s ability to see potential and empower transformation is evident even in our physical building. Located at 1009 E. Stockbridge Ave. in Kalamazoo’s Edison Neighborhood, our space is an intentionally located beacon of hope and connection to the community. We carry that energy, spirit of fellowship, and dedication with us beyond our doors and throughout the community.
Previously the home of a United Methodist Church, Urban Alliance has called this space home since 2015. We further solidified our investment in the neighborhood by purchasing the building in 2020 and began implementing various upgrades and repairs to make the space more usable, welcoming, and accessible. It’s been work but it is worth it!
Our spot is a foundational location for gathering, and we are proud to open our doors as a safe space for partnering organizations and individuals alike. We gladly carry on the tradition of offering our sanctuary, gym, classrooms, and grounds to continue to serve the neighborhood and beyond.
This is a non-judgmental place to come, be inspired, and pursue transformation.
